Daisy Coleman left everyone in her wake to take the Basingstoke Senior Ladies Sports crown after a superb season.
With her brother Sam, they qualified for the inaugural P1 World Championship in Mumbai and against stiff competition were crowned world champions. The brother and sister combined returned home and retained their British crown for the second year running. Coleman said: “It came as a huge surprise to win and a real honour against the high esteem of athletes I was up against.”
This year, Daisy and her brother are hoping to race in the United States of America, if they can secure enough sponsorship which will give them a chance of winning the title. The UK series takes a break this year and the pair are looking at other options to race abroad.
