New Partners Milford Marina – A Perfect Match
Continuously re-defining the meaning of “off-season” Daisy and Coleman are excited to announce they have secured sponsorship from the Port of Milford Haven’s £70 million regeneration scheme “Milford Waterfront”.
Following a visit to Milford Marina earlier in the summer to celebrate the Marina’s 25th anniversary, the P1 SuperStock champions made such a positive impression that they were able to secure sponsorship from the Milford Waterfront development, which will include financial support for the upcoming P1 SuperStock season in 2017.
Proud to Partner Milford Waterfront
Coleman Racing are proud to partner with Milford Waterfront to showcase the wonderful facilities on a national and global scale. We are always looking to promote the best that Pembrokeshire, and Wales, has to offer. Having raced all over the UK there are not many that come close to what we have on our door step here in Milford: excellent restaurants, marina facilities and a gateway to viewing the stunning Pembrokeshire coast from the water! We’ll be using Milford Waterfront as our base for training and testing throughout the winter, as well as hosting experience days in the coming year with a variety of boats and jet skis on show. Delighted to Become Proud Sponsors
Neil Jenkins, Destination Director at the Port of Milford Haven, said
It’s fantastic to see the Colemans excelling in powerboat racing and we’re delighted to become proud sponsors of the team. The Milford Waterfront development will celebrate the exciting range of watersports available to people of all abilities and hopefully will produce even more champions from Pembrokeshire like Sam and Daisy.
The Port of Milford Haven
The Port of Milford Haven received a resolution to grant planning consent from Pembrokeshire County Council in 2015 for the future development on the marina, which will create new, exciting attractions and revitalise the existing waterfront destination by adding a mix of local, regional and national brands within the leisure, retail, residential, office and dining sectors. It is envisaged that as well as creating around 600 long term jobs it will provide a boost to the local economy through increased local spending and an uplift in visitor numbers. You can find out more about the Port of Milford Haven via their website here.
The Non-Stop Off Season
Coleman Racing’s partnership with the Port of Milford Haven’s continues a highly eventful off season for Sam and Daisy, and adds to the new partnership with SunGod Sunglasses revealed last week. Keep up to date with all future announcements here, or following the team on facebook or twitter.
