Pertemps Coleman Racing Crowned 2016 National Champions!
Not content with simply seeing it through in the final weekend of the P1 SuperStock in Bournemouth, Sam and Daisy clinched the P1 SuperStock National Championship title in characteristically scintillating fashion. Finishing top of the podium in Bournemouth, is a true mark of champions with nothing but a win being enough to show they are worthy of the prestigious title.
The P1 SuperStock Season
In their debut season racing together the sibling pairing of Coleman Racing from Saundersfoot dominated the 2016 P1 Powerboat Championship winning by 47 points and are the first team in the series’ history to podium at every event. Here’s what the team had to say following their winning weekend and being crowned 2016 P1 SuperStock National Champions:
“What a way to clinch it! We took it easy Saturday to make sure we kept the points ticking over and Sunday we wanted to sign off in style. I’m still learning every time we get on the water, this is just the beginning, we’ll work hard over the winter with John Wilson, Neil Holmes and the team so make sure we come back stronger.”
“Just goes to show the hard work and commitment we’ve given to training, testing and improving has paid off! We’ve looked after the boat and she’s looked after us! Its truly been a rollercoaster of emotions and without the support of our family, Sam’s long suffering girlfriend and our sponsors we wouldn’t have been able to do it. But the biggest thanks goes to John Wilson, this championship was won in John’s honour after being so close for the last 3 years……we finally did it!!”
Official Report From P1 SuperStock
Naturally Coleman Racing are the vocal point of a recent article on the P1 SuperStock website highlighting their Championship success:
The 2016 P1 SuperStock UK champions are Pertemps Network. That’s a sentence Sam and Daisy Coleman will have been dreaming of hearing as they entered the new race season back in May as an all-new brother-sister partnership in the Pertemps P1 Panther.

Where Next For the P1 SuperStock National Champions?
In true Coleman Racing fashion Daisy and Sam will be keeping their foot firmly on the accelerator. Daisy will be turning her hand to Rally co-driving this weekend after spending the last few years claiming its more difficult navigating in P1 SuperStock, it will be interesting to see if that’s the case! Then Sam will be down in Pembrokeshire hoping to take the boat to the Red Bull Cliff Diving event. In early October Daisy will be setting off with Team Britannia in search of a World Record to add to her P1 SuperStock National Champions title. Daisy recently featured in the Telegraph to discuss her involvement in the Team Britannia project.
Thanks for your amazing support and backing throughout what we feel was a tremendous debut season. Its been a rollercoaster of emotions from start to finish with varying challenges but we did it! We will keep you up to date with all our activities via our social media accounts and through the website.
